The parents of Aleksa Janković are paid two million dinars compensation
Lawyer Predrag Stefanovic, one of the founding partners of the Law Office Janjić, Stefanović, Krstić and Milovanović, as a proxy of the Janković family, successfully completed the civil proceedings that Bojan and Dragan Jankovic, the parents of the late Aleksa Janković, committed suicide in 2011 against peer violence which he suffered in his elementary school “Sreten Mladenović Mika”
By the judgment of the Appellate Court in Nis, the appeal of the respondent primary school was rejected, and the first instance verdict of the Basic Court in Nis was confirmed, by which the elementary school “Sreten Mladenović Mika” in Niš was obliged to pay Aleksa’s parents Bojan and Dragana Jankovi’ 350,000 dinars for the damage sustained for non-pecuniary damage , followed by 425,000 dinars for the suffering of mental illness due to violation of the rights of the person, all with the legal penalty interest, as well as the costs of the procedure in the amount of 429,600 dinars.
